SHYAS CARES mission is to mentor, motivate, and Make a Dynamic Difference by edifying and empowering extraordinary men, women, children and communities.

• Serve men, women, & children that have experienced domestic violence and abuse- DVA Project
  
• Mentor at risk children and teens emphasizing, Fun Education, Self Empowerment, & Life Skills Enrichment - CARES Mentoring 
  
• Provides jail alternatives for men and women and teens that have a criminal history and/or illegal behaviors through our Re-Entry Program - IRAISE

The Founder of SHYAS CARES

 LaTanya Hardy

Ms Hardy is an innovator, entrepreneur, mentor, and motivator. She is a 2004 Livingstone College alum, who graduated from AIU with an MBA in healthcare management. Today, she is a Notary, National certified addictions counselor, NC Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist, and Certified Peer Support Specialist who is committed to “healing hearts and inspiring minds.
